Our Commitment We promise the best quality

All of our beans come from farms we've been to. We meet the team, inspect the quality of their coffee trees, and tour the facilities.

Ethically Sourced Beans

All of our beans come from farms we’ve been to. We meet the team, inspect the quality of their coffee trees, and tour the facilities.
The quality is in the details. A coffee is sour if the brewing temperature was low, or if the cherry over-ripened before harvesting. We love coffee and we're invested every step of the way.

Light RoastLight Roast

Light roast coffee is characterized by its pale brown colour and a light body. The beans undergo a shorter roasting time, preserving more of their original flavours and highlighting the unique characteristics of the coffee origin. Light roasts often have higher acidity and a bright, lively taste profile. The flavour notes can include fruity, floral, and even tea-like qualities. These roasts are favoured by those who appreciate the subtleties and nuances of different coffee varieties.

Medium RoastMedium Roast

Medium roast strikes a balance between the bright acidity of light roasts and the richer, more caramelized flavours of dark roasts. With a medium brown colour and a well-rounded flavour profile, these beans have a more pronounced body and a balanced acidity. Medium roasts often feature a blend of sweetness, acidity, and a bit of roastiness, making them a popular choice for a wide range of coffee drinkers. The beans are roasted long enough to develop complexity but not so much that the original flavours are overwhelmed.

Dark RoastDark Roast

Dark roast coffee is known for its deep brown, almost shiny appearance and its robust, full-bodied flavour. The beans are roasted for an extended period, resulting in caramelization of sugars and oils, which imparts a bolder taste with lower acidity. Dark roasts often have smoky, toasty, and sometimes even slightly bitter notes. The flavours are more influenced by the roasting process than the coffee bean’s origin, and the brew tends to have a strong, hearty character. Dark roasts are favoured by those who enjoy a more intense and bold coffee experience.

EspressoEspresso

Espresso is not a roast level but a brewing method that utilizes finely ground coffee beans and high pressure to extract a concentrated shot of coffee. However, espresso is commonly made using dark roasts due to their intense flavours and ability to cut through milk in drinks like lattes and cappuccinos. The best espresso beans are often characterized by a shiny surface, indicating the oils released during the dark roasting process. The resulting espresso shot is rich, with a full body, thick crema, and a flavour profile that can include chocolatey, nutty, or even spicy notes, depending on the bean blend.
